Donna Lia Intrecci was born from the passion of Miss Rosalia Firenze for women's arts and crafts, which over the years has enabled her to acquire a great experience with techniques such as crochet, the knife, the filet needlework, macrame, the bobbin, the fork.
The context is that of the craft of Alberobello, Puglia Heritage Site because of the famous trulli, which still treasures the preservation and enhancement of the ancient traditions.
Our store is located in two perfectly preserved trully, where since 1982 we welcome our customers and visitors from all over the world.

The art of creating objects and decorations using knots is known under the name of Macramè. Our Grandmothers knew the art of loom weaving and once they finished preparing the so called "pezza" (cloth) they used to embellish them by knoting the edges in a more or less simple way, obtaining beautiful patterns.
